Tutto è iniziato da un sogno comune di due fratelli alimentata da una passione profonda. In un angolo autentico di Venezia, Òstrega racconta la cucina di mare con semplicità e rispetto per la tradizione. Il nome, un'esclamazione tipica del dialetto Veneziano che esprime sorpresa e meraviglia, racchiude il nostro spirito: genuino, diretto e profondamente legato al territorio. Ogni piatto nasce da ingredienti freschi e stagionali, selezionati con cura e trasformati con creatività. La nostra è una cucina che guarda al passato ma dialoga con il presente, dove le ricette tipiche si aprono a sperimentazioni leggere e contemporanee. Dal baccalà mantecato alle rivisitazioni di piatti storici, ogni proposta è curata nei minimi dettagli, senza mai perdere l'anima.

Superb seafood and outstanding service
Òstrega is a must-visit for seafood lovers in Venice. Every dish we ordered—from the appetizers to the main course—was flawlessly prepared, showcasing the true quality of the local catch. The balance of traditional Venetian flavors and contemporary culinary techniques was impressive. Impeccable service and a lovely ambiance made our evening truly memorable. It is worth every penny. We will definitely be back!
Πραγματικά υπέροχο φαγητό σας ευχαριστώ πολύ για όλα πολύ ευγενική οικοδεσπότες τα πιάτα ήτανε σαν πίνακα ζωγραφιστό και πολύ νόστιμα ότι δοκιμάσαμε και το κρασί υπέροχο ένα μεγάλο μπράβο στα παιδιά γιατί αυτό που αγαπάνε πραγματικά το κάνουνε με αγάπη

ottimo pranzo e grande ospitalità! nonostante si trattasse di un pranzo di festa familiare con molti bambini chiassosi (come pure gli adulti) siamo stati accolti e accontentati in tutto con grande gentilezza e professionalità. consigliatissimo
We had only been in Venice a few hours, but our guide mentioned how great the food is at this restaurant. All four of us agreed this was one the best meals we have had anywhere. One of the owners was so patient with four wide-eyed and uninformed people from the Midwest of the US; he guided us through the menu and wine choices. We had three different antipasto choices—they were all delicious, but I loved my choice, the artichoke with the cheese sauce and pumpkin seeds. It was scrumptious! We all enjoyed our second course as well—the gnocchi and spider crab, the eggplant parmigiana, and scampi with pasta and red sauce. All were amazing, as were the wines he suggested, a Prosecco and a smooth, balanced red. For dessert we shared an amazing chocolate dessert I did not catch the name of and tiramisu; both were delicious. In all, the service was stellar, the wines were delicious, and the food was the best we have had perhaps ever. Eat here—you will not be disappointed!
